There are people who genuinely like the months long battery life of eink readers. But, this strongly reads like a slashvertisement.

I still have a couple of e-readers, and I usually take one with me when I go on vacation because it's much easier to read sitting out in the sun and I can read all afternoon without having to worry about the battery life.

[MOST] PS4 titles play on PS5 just fine, and in many cases the game is upgraded. A good example is The Last of Us Part 2 for PS4 which downloads a huge update to take advantage of the PS5 (better graphics, UHD, less "pop-in" of scenery, etc.).

Fixed that for you. There are still many PS4 games that are pretty choppy on PS5 because they aren't optimized for PS5 and are locked into a lower frame rate. A good example is The Division.

Apple (and many others) spends a considerable amount of money paying our license fees for technology that they don't hold patents for. Most of these have to deal with wireless communications.

Although, I will say that based on the OP, it sounds like Excel and even Access is NOT the correct tool for what it sounds like they are trying to track here.

I'm in complete agreement with you. Just because basically everyone uses some kind of computing device doesn't mean that everyone has to know how to program it. Those same people use electricity and plumbing everyday as well but the education system doesn't require they learn how to wire a fuse box, or design a functional sewage ventilation system.

There is however one thing that students need to learn about, money and finances. I know so many younger people that have never seen their bank account statements and have no idea what balancing their account means or how to do it.

You thought OS/2 2.0 was stable?

Yes it was. I was working for a large financial company at the time and we had a bunch of DOS machines running programs to send analytical data to Reuters. We were able to get 2 DOS instances running on an OS/2 box, reducing our hardware requirements in half. We also kept a few DOS machines running for A/B testing and the OS/2 machines ended up being more stable.

Up to now, the whole ransomware scheme has functioned on the premise that if a company pays the ransom, they will get the keys to unlock their data and BlackCat will delete whatever data they have. If BlackCat is cheating their 'partners' who still have access to the data and can still cause problems for the target then future ransomware targets will reconsider paying the ransom. Enough companies refuse to pay and the entire scheme will implode.
