I have a pair of HD-650s that are super comfortable and sound "great", but they quickly get boring. The complete opposite of my set of Grado SR80s that are incredibly uncomfortable but make me want to listen to anything that's recorded decently well.

I think we should just call them communicators.
10 Reasons Not To Go:
1. The big screen. You can barely see the whole thing without turning your head, especially if you get stuck near the front.
2. People everywhere. They spend all movie talking and kicking your seat.
3. Focus. Because most movies have boring parts.
4. Relentlessness.Because 2 hours is a long time to go without using the toilet.
5. A massive speaker system. Louder isn't always better, and it still isn't loud enough to drown out cell phones.
6. Previews. What a waste of time, watching all the best parts of movies I don't even want to see.
7. Disruption. Pizza is here!
8. Alone time. Even in a dim movie theater it's hard to get off.
9. 32 ounces of cola in the dark. At least my floors at home aren't sticky.
10. Bragging rights.
Because porn is better when it has been uuencoded, just like records sound better than CDs.
Lots of vinyl has been mastered 'better' than CDs. Basically anything in the 'loudness war' that was released on both vinyl and CD will sound better on vinyl, because it won't constantly be clipping (Red Hot Chili Peppers' Californication is an album I can't stand to listen to on CD).
Just because something 'sounds better' doesn't mean it's higher quality. Take a listen to some vinyl, and I think you'll at least be able to agree that it sounds different. If it does sound different, some people might think that it might sound better..
.. is the extra $199 you save by not having to buy a Windows license enough to make up for the frame rate difference if you divert that cash to your video card fund?
To be fair, we also only vote for one candidate, and don't have any ballot measures.

Have you thought about modding the device to add a mic input? If you check the web, someone might have already done it, or the schematic might be available, or it might be obvious if you take it apart.
Desalination requires equipment and sometimes energy, neither of which falls out of the sky.
I'm pretty sure energy does fall out of the sky. Some of these desalination plants use solar power.
