Centralized exchanges and lenders had liquidity problems. Decentralized exchanges and lending protocols did not and do not.

This is just a meme at this point. The question is no longer even relevant, really. I imagine most of /. uses Linux as a primary desktop for over 10 years (except for you fancy osx bros out there). And Linux dominates the cloud space big time.

Yeah this is about controlling intellectual property and monetary value within their own restrictive ecosystems. Same thing as apple disallowing apps to monetize outside their proprietary payment systems.
