Comment "primum non nocere" is a thing of the past (Score -1, Troll) 311

Due to mass vaccination with an novel vaccine many doctors have now needlessly injected millions of previously infected people with a vaccine they didn't need, subjecting them to adverse effects and unknown long-term adverse effects for no benefit at all. So much for "First, do not harm". The mass vaccination campaign *is* an experiment, apparently. There is a reason vaccine trials and approvals usually take several years.

I wonder what other "cure" can "sometimes" cause collateral health damages, like thrombosis and myocarditis...

If you take medical advice from a nation's president you have lost it anyway, but I'd rather not have YouTube (designed explicitly to get people hooked to it) decide which health tips are "good" for you and which aren't. Open debate and flow of information is never a bad thing.

You say creatures can not adapt to an average change of 3C, but coincidentally there is at least one mammal, called Homo Sapiens, which can live in central Africa or Greenland and Alaska, with the former area having a yearly average temperature of -3.8C, and the latter a yearly average temperature of 25.5C. That's a difference of nearly 30C, and in both regions also other animals live adapted to their environment.

That creatures and plants will not be able to adapt (yes, also by migration) to the change is panic porn. There are other things to worry about, evolution was always a test of fitness. When one creature gets unfit, another one emerges as the more fitter one. Who should decide which of these animals ought to get the upper hand?

Some green party people have now realized that nuclear was the solution to the CO2 issue all along. But they get ferociously attacked by the (mostly) upper-class millennial and younger zealots (Fridays for Future et. al), who still think the only way forward is to destroy everything their forebears spent time and energy to construct, without offering any reliable and workable replacements.

It's only a crisis insofar as the government will use it as an excuse to tax us even more, to spend the extra money on "renewables" and "green economy", with the latter meaning that all the greens to into their and their friends' pockets.

University staff does not even have a login on my machine, they'd have to physically come to my office and wipe my HD by booting with a live medium or into /bin/bash, or destroy it physically. And then there are still backups of everything.

I thought one of the things you learn in university by example is to not trust institutions and bureaucracies.

Language is a means to express and transmits thoughts, and a varied language is part of your culture. Artificially limiting what you can do with it will reduce the ways people can communicate. And it is a slippery slope, what is acceptable today might be offensive to the next generation of SJWs tomorrow, and ultimately you end up with a caveman language because every single word is offensive, killing culture (which, arguably, is what the left-wing Maoists want).

Part of growing up to being an adult in a free society is learning to deal with people or ideas you find "offensive". Making the society less free and cultured will not make you less offended by ideas, because the next one is just around the corner. The problem is in *your* head, not the society or language.
