Damned straight it does. I used to run my own server, and it was a PITA trying to keep ahead of spam. Since shifting my domain to GMail, I see maybe one spam a month.
How many times have you seen an old, embedded system with a bunch of proprietary electronics in it and thought, "well that sucks". There are people out the still selling this kind of solution for unreasonable sums of money, and the Pi can often do everything they do, and do it better. It can interface to practically anything, and it's so cheap you can keep spares on-hand to replace any failed units. Hell, you can even assign one unit to poll all the others and report failed units.
Configuration is a dream too. Just a matter of putting the right data on the SD card they boot from. These little buggers are
Relax. Tony Abbott will tell you that "climate change is crap". And Tony is a widely-respected climate scientist. Right?
What? His degrees are in Arts and Boxing, you say? Well, give the guy a chance, OK? He knows what he's doing. He told us so.
Or Little Creatures. Mmmmm.
Oracle employs autistics exclusively.
I'm OK with it as long as it's not in freakin' PHP or JavaScript.
It's a step in the WRONG direction. Why should a kid be forced to learn an Asian language? Suppose s/he has Italian or other antecendents, and wants to be able to speak to Nonna? Or a a passionate interest in the classics, and wants to learn Latin or Greek.
It's a big mistake to build in more mandatory components to our education system. We should be making it more flexible, not less.

I wonder how many of the people who argue against surveillance cameras would be so principled if they were ever to be the victims of violent crime. It's my bet that they'd be the first ones screaming for the footage.
Go ahead and take my picture. I doubt it's worth looking at and there is, in any case, too much video for anybody to bother studying more than a tiny part of it. There really is no use for it other than catching criminals.
It's not that I trust our government, but I do know that they're not a totalitarian regime. And if they were, there's bugger-all we could do about surveillance anyway. As long as the cameras contribute to the crime clearance rates, I'm fine with it.
So, bad drivers, the ones who get in accidents don't just use cell phones, they drive more wreckfully while using them.
FTFY. Unless you meant recklessly that is.
Also, as head of the AMA, he opposed death with dignity laws. And as a doctor, he once denied his sick brother the same. The man's a dick.
I would propose that the next time a "Justice" declares himself to be "calling balls and strikes", that we rename his title to "Umpire", as "justice" is orthogonal to his self-defined description.
And set his pay scale accordingly.
I'm still mourning for RareWare. N64 on standby,
Better yet, a lightsabre. Then you just listen for the pitch and volume of the hum.
