Submission + - Turbogears releases first beta for version 2.0 (turbogears.org)

Derick writes: "Turbogears, the megaframework for Python web development has released their first beta for the new version 2.0 series. The new revision, while mostly backwards compatible, is now based off Pylons, SQLAlchemy, Repoze, and many other powerful, yet easy to use WSGI components. New features for TG2 include the ability to support multiple databases, horizontal data partitioning (sharding), extensibility via WSGI middleware, and support for numerous Javascript/AJAX toolkits all in a MVC design structure."
