Submission + - Belenix 0.7, KDE Based OpenSolaris Distro released (genunix.org)

anilg writes: "The Belenix team has released v0.7 of the OpenSolaris based distribution. This is a source level derivative of project Indiana. It has evolved from a LiveCD to a full fledged distribution. From the announcement:

After a long gap, we are pleased to announce the availability of BeleniX 0.7, an opensolaris based distro. This release marks a considerable change in the evolution of BeleniX. It is now a source level derivative of Project Indiana. As such it has most of the Indiana features including ZFS root. Additionally, it has all the goodness of the KDE 3.5.8 and XFCE 4.4.1 desktops.

The release notes are here."
