New ATI Driver Released for Linux

Comments Filter:
  • Does it fix the hibernate/suspend issues?
  • Hey, is ATI finally getting a little open source heart?

Lets see the proof, if they really are getting onto open source support of their hardware, when I see the proof I will turn around. Bring it on. AMD must have fired the closed source nut heads. Maybe release some of the legacy stuff too. But this dude, waiting for the proof.

  • It is taking forever for me to download the new driver from ati. Is there a mirror or a torrent for this that I can try instead?
