Samsung unveils 64Gbit flash memory chip

  • how many dollars per LoC* will this giant mini storage device cost me?

  • 64 Gbit = 8 Gbyte. As TFA says,

By combining a total of 16 separate 64Gb flash devices, businesses can create a 128GB flash
. I bought a 4 GByte USB stick today for $25 that probably has a single 32 Gbit (or maybe two 16 Gbit) NAND Flash devices, and I know that there are at least 16 GByte USB sticks available. So, this is a normal, evolutionary development, and nothing extraordinary.
