Coward Anonymous writes: While 'The People' are in a super bowl induced coma, buzzing about commercials as if they were high culture and busily congratulating themselves for a series of inconsequential non-achievments in a ball game they had no part in, politics in Washington marches on to the detriment of mankind. Even though not nearly as important as the soma bowl even to the self important NY Times, the Times still manages to report about the Federal government seeking to build a giant DNA database of anyone who gets arrested — a doctrine of guilty until proven innocent by way of death (whereupon no new crimes could possibly be committed in the future).
