Submission + - Internet Governance Forum kicks off in Athens

qirtaiba writes: "The Internet Governance Forum, or IGF, is a forum created by the United Nations to bring together governments, the private sector, civil society and international organisations, to discuss Internet Governance policy. The IGF's first meeting is being held in Athens from 30 October to 2 November, though you too can participate online. But even before the meeting starts, there are claims that the structures and processes developed for the IGF by United Nations appointees are lacking in transparency, accountability and inclusiveness."
