Submission + - Scientist edit the DNA of a living animal (independent.co.uk)

Charliemopps writes: For the first time, Scientist at MIT have edited the DNA of a living animal (a mouse) to cure it of an inherited liver disease. I find this both amazingly hopeful as well as horrifically terrifying. At least I can rid myself of this bald spot before the I grow a tail.
