Submission + - China's "YUTU" moon rover deployed (discovery.com)

Taco Cowboy writes: With the landing of the Chang'e 3 spacecraft on the moon, China's first moon rover, Yutu, has also been successfully deployed.

At 3.35PM EST (4.35AM Suday Beijing time) the Chang'e 3 lander lowered its ramp and the Yutu rover, with its solar panels fully deployed, rolled down the ramp and made it's first tread mark on lunar's regolith, without a hitch.
