Submission + - Google Removes CyanogenMod Installer App from Play Store

Zanadou writes: CyanogenMod have posted that their Android "companion app" that's used with CyanogenMod's recently released Windows-based installer has been pulled by Google from the Google Play Store due to the fact that it is "in violation of Google Play’s developer terms"—noted specifically as that it "encourages users to void their warranty". Fortunately, the app is still available to be downloaded directly from CyanogenMod's website and then sideloaded, but it ain't so Grandma-friendly anymore.
