Submission + - Twitter IPO met with protest against tax breaks, evictions (aljazeera.com)

An anonymous reader writes: While Twitter employees celebrated the company's November 7 public offering, a coalition of activist groups protested outside Twitter's San Francisco headquarters. Many used the hashtag #ThrownOutByTwitter to express solidarity online.
