Submission + - Fighting the people problem: When employees resist change (citeworld.com)

mattydread23 writes: Businesses hear all the time that they have to change to adapt to the digital revolution. But what happens when employees resist those changes? Kevin Jones, a speaker at this week's CITE event in New York, "old the story of being in a meeting with a group of employees to discuss a new enterprise social system they were implementing at their organization. One woman was so adamant about not changing the way she worked, she literally took her chair turned it around and turned her back to the meeting." It's a good reminder that people are 90% of any project, and changing minds is as important as changing systems.
