A South Florida "journalist" is called out for running a smear story, doubles down on his position, publicly attacks commenters and reddit, and threatens legal action when a disturbing conflict of interest is exposed.

  • This story appears to be slashdot-worthy, but the submission needs a lot of work. I'm not sure how to word it - the best I came up with: After a politically-connected drunk driver killed a bicyclist and the traditional media smeared the victim, an online community of bicyclists exposed the unethical journalism and conflicts-of-interest... and then the Streisand effect kicked in.

Dead? No excuse for laying off work.
