coolnumbr12 writes: IBM announced Thursday that it purchased Trusteer, a software developer that specializes in cybersecurity and anti-fraud. IBM plans to combine Trusteer’s Tel Aviv office with IBM’s research and development facilities to build a cybersecurity lab in Israel with over 200 researchers focusing on mobile and application security, malware, fraud and financial crime.

  • This tells me that at least IBM or an IBM sponsor (insert TLA) has discovered how much money and other risk is involved.

    I suspect that this is a good thing but wonder what the other big players in this game are up to. It is apparently that the big G is funding one research project with Microsoft security and bug bounties.

    Of interest to me is the multi language abilities in Israel compared to CONUS. Language seems to have as much a value in this as programming language skills because the players seem
