Submission + - Mass-market crimeware targeting Android users (f-secure.com)

An anonymous reader writes: The Cutwail spam botnet is targeting Android users (as well as Windows users, like normal). IRS themed spam links to a kit/site that attempts to trick Android users into "updating their Flash installation". If the spam link is click on with a Windows computer, the attack site directs the user to a Blackhole exploit site.

The Android malware in question is currently focused on SMS billing schemes, but it does have other functionality which could be used to assist with banking theft.
