Submission + - Is The Hacker Ethic Compatible With A For-Profit Company? (blogspot.com)

psykocrime writes: "Fogbeam Labs look at the relationship between the Hacker Ethic and for-profit companies, with a nod to Google's recent "War on RSS", as well as Cory Doctorow's "The Coming War On General Purposes computing". The Free Software Foundation, Red Hat, Mozilla and the Electronic Frontier Foundation are organizations who appear to be on the right side of the issues, but out of that group, only Red Hat is a for-profit company.
