gaiageek writes: In the interest of putting outdated or damaged (i.e. cracked screen) smartphones to good use, would it be possible to convert old Android devices into pocket Wi-Fi repeaters either through an app or via a dedicated ROM? Couldn't DD-WRT or similar linux-based router firmware run on even the lowest spec Android devices?
