Submission + - "Dartmouth to Stop Accepting AP Credit in Fall 2014" (edweek.org)

An anonymous reader writes: Despite a standardized examination across courses students are not going to receive credit for AP courses at Dartmouth. This is based primarily on these students doing poorly on the final exam administered by the school. It is not clear if these students prepared for the Dartmouth exam which would be for research and likely meaningless to them. I think it would be interesting to see how Dartmouth students would do on the AP exam several months after passing their final exam without studying.
