McGruber writes: BitPay (https://bitpay.com/), the processor of an Internet-only currency named Bitcoin (http://bitcoin.org/) that recently was allowed to operate as a bank (http://yro.slashdot.org/story/12/12/08/0931247/bitcoins-join-global-bank-network) is moving to Atlanta, Georgia (http://www.ajc.com/news/business/online-payment-processor-coming-to-atlanta/nTppZ/). The Republican-lead (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Republican_Party) state of Georgia had more bank failures in 2012 (http://www.depositaccounts.com/blog/2012/12/review-of-the-2012-bank-failures-and-their-effects-on-depositors.html) and 2011 (http://www.depositaccounts.com/blog/2012/01/review-of-the-2011-bank-failures-and-their-effects-on-depositors.html) than any other state.

Bitpay also plans to hire several developers and build out its business.
