An anonymous reader writes: Researchers have found the fossilized skull of a rhinoceros that died in a volcanic eruption some 9.2 million years ago. The rhino, scientifically known as Ceratotherium neumayri, belonged to the late Miocene period and was commonly found in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
