Submission + - Wal-Mart Workers Planning "Black Friday" Walkout (businessweek.com)

retroworks writes: "Bloomberg BusinessWeek reports that several Wal-Mart distribution outlets have already started to strike, the first organized against the Bentonville Arkansas Company (USA's largest employer). The planners interviewed claim that many more Wal-Mart employees plan to walk out on "Black Friday", the USA's biggest retail sales day (following Thanksgiving), in protest of low pay and increasing health care co-pays. Wal-Mart responds that the actions are illegal."
