joeopinion writes: Microsoft offers on windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/buy download of Windows 8 upgrade for $39. Payments for the download are done through Arvato company ( www.arvato.com), but due to problems with the payments customers are not able order the Windows 8 upgrade. Despite the fact that payment screen in Microsoft Upgrade Wizard tells customers that payment is not processed the opposite is happening and accounts get charged. The problem was acknowledged by the customer support employees and thereafter by some banks where Arvato was reported for fraudulent charges i.e. PNC, Wells Fargo or BofA. Why Microsoft just does not stop the sale if there is apparent problem ?
