Submission + - Did AMD Really Try to Manipulate People with its Trinity Launch? (

Deathspawner writes: "AMD's handling of its recent Trinity launch has turned a lot of heads thanks to its split NDA, with many journalists calling for the company's head because of the direction it wanted the press to take. Some said that the information delivered in two doses was unfair to the reader, or even an outright lie given that the GPU performance is more impressive than the CPU performance. Techgage has a different view, however. Maybe AMD isn't trying to manipulate people. Maybe it's simply trying to get people to notice its strength that most journalists mention once and never again."
