Submission + - NYC Public College Uses Insecure Magnetic Stripe ID Card System (hunterenvoy.com)

An anonymous reader writes: CUNY Hunter College does not use encryption in their "OneCard" system, leaving students vulnerable to identity theft. Students' OneCards are used to get access to the campus through turnstiles, open private offices and laboratories, and make purchases at the school bookstore, starbucks, print labs and vending machines.
