Submission + - Publishing for non academics. 1

jellomizer writes: I work in Corporate Land, my years of experience have gathered a lot of insight about how to approach things, that I feel can be useful to others. While I could write and publish a book, however I feel my experience is better suited in a series of essays, that is more fitted to be read on a magazine or a popular newspapers targeting Technical Leaders. But I have no experience on how to publish to such entities. Do I just write my essays and send them to a bunch of locations and see if they stick, or is there a better process?
