judgecorp writes: "The British police have arrested around 78 suspected paedophiles in a co-ordinated swoop involving more than 40 police forces. The arrests were co-ordinated by the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) and led by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP). Even more co-ordinated than that — CEOP brought out a report today (A Picture of Abuse) which makes a connection between the rise of pornographic images of minors online, and an increase of paedophile activity. Both these events follow the exposure of explicit sex on the teen game site Habbo Hotel earlier this week."
