kenekaplan writes: "Groundbreaking as the new chips may be (i.e. new 3-D, Tri-Gate 22nm transistors), the process for picking their codename "Ivy Bridge" wasn't so Earth shattering, according to the man who came up with the initial moniker for the third generation Intel Core processor family, which will be unveiled in April."
