An anonymous reader writes: JavaScript++ is designed for scalable web application development.

For larger applications: classes, block scope, static typing, pluggable type systems, modules, standard library

For smaller applications and better scripting: Python features (array comprehensions, destructuring assignments), multi-line strings, custom regex delimiters (a la Perl), function default parameters, etc.
