Amongst other products, Pre, Veer and the Touchpad will also be benched. HP bought Palm a little over a year ago for $1.2 Billion. The general message from HP back then was Palm's WebOS is sound, as are the Palm smartphones. What's lacking was the investment in development, marketing and sales needed to take Palm's WebOS platform to the next level.
