An anonymous reader writes: Here's a story that the guys at LulzSec might be wise to digest.

A German man has been sentenced to almost three years in prison (and fined half a million US dollars) for extorting money from online gambling websites.

The man, who has not been named, threatened betting firms with denial-of-service attacks during the 2010 soccer World Cup held in South Africa.
