Google Begins Censorship in America

  • Google's mission statement: "to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful". No where in there does it say it is Google's job to filter out what the US government has deemed illegal this month. While in theory it should be ok for illegal content to be blocked ( such as child pornography), there are too many gray areas to make this automatic. Not to mention that from this one article it seems as though the filtering method is arbitrary. I applaud their efforts to
