Submission + - Motion-controlled dance music with XboxKinect hack (encantimusic.com)

An anonymous reader writes: Motion-sensing capabilities of the Xbox Kinect are being used to control art: like the interactive dubstep wobbles in this demo video from Encanti and collaborator Jacob Fenwick. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqxUzhDIdqo) They translate motion tracking of gestures with the Xbox Kinect infrared camera system into MIDI continuous controller messages. Encanti (Ben Cantil) produces sequences within Ableton Live that receive and translate the MIDI data in to interactive live electronic music. Result: dance party!
