Submission + - Is Facebook simplifying gaming?

slasher999 writes: One of the key features of Facebook that helped it grow to the huge size it is now has to be the large number of simple games available, and the relative ease in getting these games from developer to user. Will we see a significant number of simple games such as Trukz and Farmville outgrow the huge, more complicated games in the FPS and MMORPG genres? Simpler games allow for "snipe sessions" of gaming — something quick to do with a few free minutes as opposed to scheduling a block of hours with your buddies to play WoW or something similar. It seems to me that simpler games may be a better fit with the direction of society in general.
