Submission + - Google Removes Apple from Search Results

GoogleInsider writes: 'In response to Apple pulling the Google Voice application from the iPhone App Store, Google has removed all search results leading to from its index. Google is also redirecting searches for "iPhone" and "app store" to the page for Payback.' That article is a work of satire, but Google's head of search Marissa Meyer sent it out to her 4000 followers on Twitter, then thought better of it and deleted it. Unfortunately for her, nothing on the Internet is ever deleted, and TechCrunch spotted it and reported on it. Could this turn into a problem for Google? In related news Apple releases a new iPhone.
