AOL dismissed as defendant

America Online has been officially dismissed as a defendant in the Matt Drudge lawsuit. A White House advisor is suing for 20$US million in defamation damages. In a good news for other hosting sites, the dismissal was that "Internet service providers are not accountable for content supplied to them by third parties."

This is good news for places like us, and others of our ilk, freeing us to a certain degree from being sue-able, because trust me here, Rob and I don't have the cash to sustain any sort of lawsuit. We would prefer mud-wrestling as a way to settle the arguement.
