Intel® server management tools allow you to intelligently monitor and manage servers. These tools include firmware and software that alert users of possible failures, keep firmware up-to-date, and monitor power and temperature conditions in the data centre. You can take full control of your server with a virtual keyboard, virtual mouse (KVM), virtual media redirection, and video, mouse (KVM). A BMC is a microcontroller that is embedded on the motherboard of a server. It has a lot of features and north bound interfaces. This allows end-users monitor and manage servers via management software they create, existing solutions like Intel®, Data Center Manager, and Intel®, Server Utilities, as well as third-party tools. Redfish schemas are available to view and manage asset inventory, update firmware, and manage them. The platform supports legacy protocols such as IPMI, SNMP and SMTP. IPMI 2.0 is compatible with many additional OEM commands.
