I would imagine it would be hard to insulate a company in the US or the EU from lawsuits that will continue, and continue to evolve, over the coming years. Israeli has a unique place in the spectrum of the rule of law. I can see a company acquiring the IP of the company, but the company itself is going to be sued into oblivion if it moves to more conventionally locations.
Depends what you mean by asset. The tech itself will be a spin-off from existing military activities, so losing the private company isn't a loss in current or future military capabilities.
But obviously the financial income, a valuable export, is welcome too. No doubt NSO will be assisted at arms length but "restructuring" and a new badge will be minimum steps... so on paper it then reads like NSO is no more.
