Fox News has an article about the number of G rated movies going up. I don't see it that way though. I just think the G and PG rating include what in the past would has moved it towards an R rating.

I caught a spelling mistake and tried stopping the submission and correcting it. I got consfused and ended up posting it twice, but deleting the first entry.
Of note, you can go back and edit journal entries with no need to repost.
If you do a major rewrite or just have an update maybe state so with editorial comments so those who came in early aren't confused in a "hey, didn't that say sprok earlier?" kind of way.

Yeah, yeah. Rub it in why don't ya?
I was hoping that the first submit didn't actually happen. But it did. By the time I realized it happened (form keys error) I had a mental block, and resubmitted.
I don't believe that the content filters have become so lax as to allow 'R' content by any stretch of the imagination. As for 'PG' content...yes...this I could admit, since for a child to go watch a 'G' movie...they are normally taken BY their parents anyhow...rarely is the day that an 8 year old is dropped off at the theatre alone. In my small hometown of Wickenburg, AZ(podunk 2 stop-light town)...I was never checked for ID at any movie...saw Full Metal Jacket at the age of 9. Most definately an R rated film due to violence and language(not sure if ratings were really enforced in the 80's, but apparently not in Wickenburg). But with the 'desensitization' of all of the vulgarness commomplace in cartoons and children's programming, I don't find it surprising at all that the 'G' rating seems to have 'matured' in the content it is filtering.
