Journal dshaw858's Journal: Is Yahoo! Making A Comeback? 7

Now, all of a sudden, it seems as though Yahoo might be coming back into our lives. Yahoo released a Video Search System, can support realtime traffic analysis, has enhanced their search engine and has upped their email to compete with Google's GMail. Meanwhile, Google is experimenting with more USENET dominance with their enhanced Google Groups, and the mind-blowing Google Suggest Thing. It used to look like a battle between Google and the world, with Yahoo sitting on the sidelines twiddling it's thumbs and slowing disappearing. It looks now like that could be wrong, and Yahoo could come back. What are your thoughts on this, if you have any?

I also think it helps Yahoo! that they now seem to have some kind of tie-in with a few of the bigger media conglomerates, such as Fox, and have access to some of their content.
