$carab's Journal: Karma Rush

I want moderation powers. In order to get moderation powers, I will try to get 50 Karma as fast as possible.

I currently have 37 Karma.

I am leaving for vacation Thursday. I want to hit the cap before then.

This means I will be posting responses to everything. Everything I see that I think I can get modded up, I'll do it. And if I have something really insightful, Ill post w/o +1. Its already (at this point) gotten me 4 more Karma. So mod me up already!

Yeah, I kinda figured that, but I read /. a lot, so I figure it wouldnt hurt. If youre a moderator, could you please tell me if this idea is completely bunk?

I'm not sure but it *might* have something to do with the “friend/foe” system. I suppose that people with lots of “foes” and “freaks” are less likely to get moderation privilages than people with lots of “friends” and “fans” — it would surely make sense. What do you think?

That makes sense....I mean, I have a lot of foes....I usually just "foe" everbody that I dont agree with. Probably not the best strategy.
