AusG4's Journal: Halo 2 and the Console FPS

OK, here's the thing.

I've been looking over the various comments that people have been making over the past few days about Halo 2, the XBox, and the nature of the console FPS in general. Most people are hella-psyched about Halo 2 and are having a great time playing it (myself included)... but there is a small group of assholes out there who, despite having never played it, insist that any console FPS is crap and that any game that doesn't involve "charisma points" in some shape or form isn't worth their royal time.

Well, nerds, here's the thing: I don't give a fuck.

If you want to discuss the game intelligently (ie: you've played it and have a comment or want to play it and have a question), by all means, say something. But if all you want to do is come across as holier than thou because you don't leave the safety of your Athlon FX-55 and GeForce 6800 Ultra, then keep your fucking mouth shut. I could rip on RPG losers all day (believe me, you people do make it SOOO easy to) but I don't. Why? Because, what you do for fun isn't any of my business, and vice versa.

Sheesh.. live and let live.
