You have to laugh at this site, especially their talk about destroying M1 Abrams tanks left and right. For those who don't know, the M1 Abrams is hard to kill, especially using the weapons the insurgents have.

If you believe this site, every American helicopter and tank in Iraq have been destroyed and the heroic "freedom fighters" got away cleanly every time.

I dunno, Abrams is pretty easy to kill with insurgent weapons if you have stealth and balls (and a touch of luck and patience), but then again, our boys know that and tend to make their own luck with regards to preventing it.

As TOW2 anti tank missile gunner we learned quite a bit about the Abrams and its Chobham armor. An RPG MAY be able to score a mobility kill by blowing a track but the things are just really damned tough. Anti tank mines would be their best bet since I doubt they have the training, discipline, and infrastructure to use anti tank missiles.

...yeah, but if we're talking M1A1 Abrams, molotov cocktail + air inlets for the turbine = immobile tank on fire.

Dunno if they fixed that on the M1A2 or not.
