Journal Thing I am's Journal: Weird repair

This happens way to often to be coincedence so I'm going to start keeping track of it here. Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2004 This guy, who's name I still don't know, came to my office and described the problem he was having with his computer. It was stuck in an endless cycle of rebooting. I agreed to take a look at it and went across the street to his office. As I entered the room I saw the computer and heard it in the process of another reboot. I sat down and quickly hit F8 so I could try safe mode. Once in safe mode I poked around in the registry looking for evil entries. Everything looked normal so I checked out the event viewer logs which looked normal also. I rebooted it to see if it would run normal and it started just fine. I ran a few apps and checked the running processes to no avail. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Chalk another one up to my presence fixing the computer. :)
