What an intersting place. After about a week here I feel more in touch with what is going on in my world.

Lots of smart, articulate people here. I learn something every time I visit.

Read in awe as the katie.com saga unfolded. Participated in my first ever internet activism when I was one of many who went to Amazon to vote down the book of the evil KatieT. Watched in horror as my comments were deleted. And was elated today when the publisher decided to withdraw from their evil ways.

Failed to use the preview button and didnt realize I need to use HTML in my first post. Still wondering how modding and karma work.

I think I am going to like it here.
