mozilla's Journal: Love your first journal entry...

I just thought that I should say "Welcome to SlashDot" home to geeks worldwide... if you check my member number, you will see that I am somewhat of an antique around here, (check my Bio for more information) and I can assure you that the site has long been an excellent resource for geek related info and discussions... it was as good in the beginning when it was in Rob's garage as it is now... but thankfully the SlashCode has improved at a rate fast enough to handle the tremendous amount of traffic... geeks around the world re-checking the main page every few minutes for news hundreds of millions of times a day... and, yeah, I would agree there is a general lack of self-esteem... it seems to be a common factor among us geeks... however, we have our good sides too... one is that we are very grateful...*smile* Again, welcome, we need gorgeous red heads around here who know how to belly dance...
