Journal Chacham's Journal: Verbiage: X-File Musings

Just finished watching X-Files Season 3, Episode 12. "War of the Coprophages", which is seemingly a typo. Anyway, in each season, it would seem, that they have one outraegously ridiculous episode. This would seem to be one of them. A full rundown of the lines is listed here. Some quite notable ones:

Typing on the computer: "Maybe we have gone as far as we can go, and the next advance, whatever that may be, will be made by beings we create ourselves, using our own tech" *beep* "tech" *beep* *smacks screen* *beep-beep* "technology."

Wonderfully Mulder: *picks up a cockroach* "Greetings from planet Earth."

Of course, we love Mulder: "Scully, if an alien civilisation were technologically advanced enough to build and send artificially intelligent robotic probes to the farthest reaches of space, might they not have also been able to perfect the extraction of methane fuel from manure? An abundant and replenishing energy source on a planet filled with dung-producing creatures?"

Scully: "Well, think of it this way, Mulder. By the time there's another invasion of artificially intelligent dung-eating robotic probes from outer space, maybe their (scientists) uber-children will have devised a way to save our planet."

Whoever wrote that episode did a fine job. Just thought i'd share. :)
